Anyone is open to attend our Sunday services, which start at 11 am.  All services are in English except for the occasional Japanese service at 1 pm. Assisted listening devices are available upon request.  If you are a newcomer or visiting student, please read this useful guide for newcomers.

For those unable to attend as well as our friends across the country and internationally we stream Sunday services on Facebook Live. A full service book will help you follow the full service order (opening and closing, sutras, Dhammapada, gathas). Updated in 2009, the service book contains general explanations of the service form, elements of the service, core Sutras (chants), and gathas (songs) used during the service. Check our calendar and our Facebook page for the latest updates and for events and classes held throughout the week. Special holiday services are held throughout the year and on New Year’s Day. Refreshments follow service, with luncheons on special occasions.

The temple is generally closed on Labor Day weekend due to the annual Eastern Buddhist League Conference.
