Note for 2016-2017: Meditation is on hiatus for the last two weeks of December and on January 1, 2017.
Meditation is free and open to all. No experience is necessary. Beginners are encouraged to arrive early for an orientation, and the volunteer leaders are available for questions after the sessions. Cushions and pillows are provided. The 60-minute sessions are held on Thursday evenings 7:30 – 8:30 pm and Sunday mornings 9:00 am through 10 am. Please consider joining us for Sunday service at 11 afterwards. Some tips:
- For first timers, come 15 minutes early for a personalized orientation.
- Wear comfortable clothing for sitting.
- Bring socks to keep your feet warm walking around on the floor, especially during the winter months.
- Turn off your mobile devices during meditation and while at the temple.
