View hand-carved panels depicting the life of Buddha, visit our exhibits about temple history and the history of Japanese Americans in Chicago, and see our nokotsudo (cremation remains chamber) with its hand-carved altar, made from scrap wood by a detainee in the Heart Mountain concentration camp.
