Calendar archive

This printed calendar is provided online for those who need more than a month’s notice on certain special annual events and holidays.  Because this calendar was published in December of 2018, please note that it does not include classes and is always at risk of being outdated, especially as we get later into the year.  Check Facebook  and the current calendar page (updated monthly for the BTC Bulletin) for the most recent dates.

Migrating to Mailchimp

Good evening, followers of the BTC site!

We are migrating all of you to our new newsletter service on Mailchimp.  (Some of you are already migrated.) The transition should be seamless for most of you who signed up using your email.  But if you suddenly find that you hear only crickets from us every month and suspect that you somehow got cut, please sign up at the sign up page here. That link is also available in the sidebar on our site.

Special note to WordPress users:  If you signed up to follow our site using your WordPress account, note that we do not have access to your email address and cannot migrate you.  That’s about 43 of you. If you suspect that this applies to you, please add yourself manually to the new list at the sign up page here. That link is also available in the sidebar on our site.

Book sale & breakfast this weekend!

This Saturday 10 to 5,  and Sunday 12:30 to 5 after service, BTC will be selling more than a thousand awesome books, many brand new!  Plus DVDs, CDs, and some t-shirts, arts, and crafts! Hardcovers cost $3, trade paper $1, mass paper $.50, DVDs $2, CDs $1, magazines $.25, rest as marked. SUNDAY CLOSEOUT SALE starts 3 pm – all books, DVDs, and CDs will be $5 PER DOZEN.  Every penny goes directly to support the temple, so you can throw in a few extra bucks if you think you got a great deal! Cash preferred, credit cards might be accepted if our machine isn’t acting up (it might be, it’s crabby).

On Sunday at 8 to 11 am, join the fundraising breakfast for only $10, $7.50 for kids under 12.  There will be teriyaki wieners, rice, eggs, tea, coffee, juice, and a vegetarian option. You can even browse and buy books during the breakfast.

The Book Sale and Breakfast are coming up!  Drop off your donations at the temple and come by to browse the offerings on Saturday. We already have a lot of great books, and they are priced at a steal. Sunday morning, browse the selection as you enjoy your back to school breakfast. See the flyers for more info.
